Hitachi has appointed Charlotte Ong Wisener as their new channel marketing manager in Australia and New Zealand.

Based in Sydney, Wisner will lead the strategy, development and implementation of the partner and alliance elements of the ANZ marketing plan, including planning and executing partner programs and driving brand awareness.

Wisener held roles at IBM, SingTel, Nortel Networks and Pacific Internet before joining Hitachi.

At IBM, Wisener was responsible for generating business, assisting sales leads and market conditioning for new product lines.

Other roles include communications manager, ASEAN & Pakistan for Nortel Networks; manager, group communications for Singapore Sports Council; bid manager (corporate business marketing group) for SingTel; and assistant corporate communications manager at Pacific Internet Limited (PacNet).
