LG has announced the appointment of Lambro Skropidis to the position of Head of Marketing.

Skropidis, resigned from Samsung last year and now joins LG “to capitalise on the momentum the LG brand has been achieving in the Australian market and drive the brand to further heights off the back of the company’s exciting innovation pipeline,” according to a statement released by LG.

Skropidis previously held senior marketing positions Johnson & Johnson, Colgate-Palmolive, George Weston Foods and Nestle in the FMCG industry both locally and internationally.

His appointment at LG comes due his experience as head of marketing at rival Samsung.
