Kensington
Kensington, the worldwide leader in notebook security and portable notebook power, is focused on obtaining retailers to stock its products which include computer hardware, as well as accessories for the iPhone, iPod and other MP3 players.

Kensington product manager Sam Goldstein told www.connectedaustralia.com that retail expansion is “our focus area this year. Our new range of netbook accessories is a catalyst to that.”

Goldstein said that the new range has begun shipping and will be available next month.

He said that the brand, which is the technology division of ACCO Brands, sees “very good opportunities at retail”.

“At present, our retail range is probably not as comprehensive as we want.

Major retailers wanted
“We’re looking to target all the major retailers [for expansion],” Goldstein said.

He said that while its notebook security products remain their bread and butter, they cover a range of categories.

“The key is we’re trying to push ourselves as a mobile accessories provider, not just a notebook security provider.”

Kensington’s retailers include Officeworks, Apple, Dick Smith and Harvey Norman.
