Franks has come on board as the face of Sunbeam’s new Verve iron range, while the manufacturer will return the favour in May, supporting Camilla at this year’s Rosemount Australian Fashion Week.
The partnership aims to promote consumers caring for their garments and thereby protecting their fashion investments.
“People spend thousands of dollars each year on designer clothing, but give little thought to the tools they use to care for them,” Sunbeam marketing manager of irons, Danielle Thompson said.
“By working with Camilla we hope to educate consumers that with a good quality iron, you can care for anything at home, from cotton and linen to silk and chiffon. With Verve, Australian women and men can protect their investment in fashion,” she added.

Camilla leverages the campaign due to her position in the fashion world as a leading designer of particularly delicate garments, recommending the new range for the care of her products and those alike.
“All my collections have been hand designed and are extremely delicate,” Franks said.
“In the past, I’ve been hesitant to recommend ironing my garments, but Sunbeam’s Verve range uses steam so effectively that I have no qualms about using these irons for garment care and finishing touches. I trust Sunbeam entirely when it comes to irons,” she added.
