Samsung heard the consumer call for versatile and well-designed, but affordable LCD monitors - and soundly answered with the realease of their new 30 Series of monitors. By combining high-end design with a variety of clever features, Samsung has set a new standard for monitors in the entry level market.

The range includes the 20-inch B2030, 21.5-inch B2230 and 23.6-inch B2430L, taking into account most desk spaces. All models include Samsungs' new functions; 'Magic Angle' which helps create perfect viewing from any angle and 'Magic Eco' which gives the ability to reduce the power consumption of the monitor. High screen brightness and contrast means that the monitors display some of the best image quality available on any entry level monitor.

One of the highlights of monitors is its elegant design. Samsung believe they've managed to combine high quality engineering with versatility and aesthetics. The monitors boast a rear wave pattern, transparent decoration bar and a stylish high gloss finish.

Talking tech

Designed with entertainment in mind, the B2230 and B2430L deliver vivid images with high brightness (300cd/m2) and contrast ratio (70,000:1).
'Magic Eco,' function offers four power saving modes that adjust the brightness of the screen - Power Saving Off, 100 percent, 75 percent, and 50 percent - enabling control over the amount of power the monitor consumes.
The Samsung 30 Series monitors use only 0.3W of power in standby mode, making them over 60 percent more energy efficient than previous comparable models

The Samsung 30 Series is available in store now at an RRP of $249 for the B2030 and B2430L and $299 for the B2230.
