Digital Cameras the Easy Way, released by Tasco Sales Australia.

Tasco Sales Australia has released a new pocket-sized reference book titled Digital Cameras the Easy Way, aimed at consumers who have joined the digital photography ‘revolution.”

“Most photos are taken of family and friends, previously with simple point-and-shoot cameras. Since the recent revolution in photography with digital replacing film, these photographers have found themselves holding a sophisticated compact camera full of a bewildering range of controls,” according to Tasco.

“Today’s simple cameras contain powerful chips, and technicians have filled them with a large menu system - in the same way they made video recorders so complicated people still have trouble using them,” the company said.

“Photography is not a hobby for the majority of people, and many users are not interested in reading detailed books on digital photography, yet find themselves in charge of a new digital camera, a computer, a printer and manuals which they cannot easily understand,” the book’s author Brian Miller added.
