The LG KC910, or Renoir, also features DivX/Xvid playback, A-GPS, 3G HSDPA and a noise-free microphone.
LG Electronics Australia has released the first full touchscreen 8 megapixel multimedia phone in Australia, the LG KC910 named Renoir.

LG’s marketing manager of mobile communications, Carli Wilson, believes that consumers want technology that allows them to communicate using a number of media and senses.

'Much more than a camera phone'
“Renoir is much more than a camera phone. It provides experiences through sight, sound and touch, combining a unique array of features including a full 3.0-inch touchscreen interface, Dolby Mobile for Music and built-in support for Wi-Fi and A-GPS.

“The name Renoir conveys the phone’s personality and level of multimedia sophistication. Like its namesake painter, who created an entirely new style of painting with impressionism, we believe we have created something unique with our new Renoir handset,” she said.

14mm profile
This handset has a slim profile of 14mm for an 8 megapixel camera phone and with touch shot, users can focus the Renoir’s camera exactly where they want by touching the screen on that spot and then take a photo by removing their finger.

Other camera features include Xenon Flash, ISO up to 1600, geo-tagging and detection features.

The Renoir is available now through Optus, Vodafone and 3 Mobile on contract or for $799 RRP.
