Samsung is giving a little extra to consumers this Christmas Electronics Australia with a new Blu-ray player promotion.

Consumers that purchase a selected Samsung LCD or Plasma television are eligible to receive a Samsung BD-P1500 Blu-ray player via redemption.

This promotion is valid for televisions purchased from October 17 to December 24 2008. As a stand alone product, the BD-P1500 retails at $499. Consumers must pay a $30 postage, handling and administration fee to receive the Blu-ray player.
